Pork Banh Mi Wraps
Bánh mì is a Vietnamese baguette. Bánh mì translates to biscuit cake. The traditional sandwich is made up of thinly sliced pickled carrots and daikon, cucumbers, cilantro, chili peppers, pâté, mayonnaise and various meat fillings or tofu. I decided to make mine slightly different by using a wheat wrap and using different sauces and fillings. You can try substituting the pork for something new like five spice chicken, spicy beef, even lemongrass shrimp would be delicious!
Hope you enjoy!

- 3-4 small boneless lean pork chops

- salt/pepper to taste
- 2 wheat wraps
- 2 tbsp light mayo
- 1 tbsp sriracha hot sauce
- 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
- 1/2 English cucumber, sliced
- 2 tbsp green onions, chopped
Recipe Steps:
- Heat olive oil in grill skillet over med to med high heat. Season pork with salt and pepper, add to pan and cook for a few minutes. Turn pork over and pour soy sauce and 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce onto chops. Cook until cooked through. Remove from heat, let cool slightly then slice into bite size strips.
- Toast wraps lightly then spread on mayo and sriracha. Split the pork between the two wraps, spreading out on top of the spicy mayo spread.
- Then toss lettuce and carrots in a bowl with rice vinegar and add on top of pork. Next add jalapeno, cucumber, cilantro, and green onions.
