Squid cooked in Indian Hot Masala
Squid cooked in Indian masalas as Kasmiri chillie powder, pepper powder, turmeric powder etc. Innovative recipe – Own idea. It is a side dish of Indian Roti, Parathas, Chappathi or bread. It can be served at any time of the day, especially for dinner. Easy to prepare. There are no complicated steps. Even a beginner can try it. Squid can be substituted by crabs, prawns, mussels.
Recipe Ingredients:
- 500 gms of squid
- 1 tsp lime juice
- 1 tsp pepper powder
- ½ tsp turmeric powder
- ½ tsp aiwain
- ½ tsp chili flake
- 1 tsp kashmiri chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp chaat masala
- ½ tsp ginger garlic paste
- 2 tsp ghee
- salt to taste
- ½ cup of water
- ½ tsp of kasthuri methi
Recipe Steps:
- Clean and cut the squid into rings.
- Mix all the ingredients (except for kasthuri methi) together with squid on a nonstick tawa pan (heavy griddle pan) on lowfire.
- When the squid is well cooked add kasthuri methi.
- Switch off fire and serve hot.
