Gochujang is simply red pepper paste (gochujang), which is used a lot in Korean cooking. Chogochujang is a slightly sour version of gochujang that is often used as an accompaniment for dishes with fish (like
hwedupbap
) or squid type dishes.
Recipe Ingredients:
3 tsp hot pepper paste (gochujang 고추장)
3 tsp soju (or rice wine)
1 tsp vinegar
1 l/2 tsp sugar
Recipe Steps:
Mix well and serve in a small side plate.
