This is a general sauce that is good for dipping mandu (dumplings), buchimgae (vegetable pancakes) and sengson jeon (fried fish) and etc.

Recipe Ingredients:

  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp vinegar (balsamic vinegar, distilled white, or rice vinegar)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic, minced
  • 1/2 stalks of green onion cut small
  • 1 tsp hot pepper powder (optional)
  • l/2 tsp sugar (optional)

Recipe Steps:

  • Mix all ingredients and store in the refrigerator.
